The AI provides estimated nutritional data based on visual analysis. For medical-grade precision, consult a registered dietitian. Please refrain from using the app if you have serious health concerns or food allergies.
Basic food diary logging works offline. AI scanning, daily reports, and recipe generation require an internet connection.

We collect information you provide when signing up (name, email, phone number) and profile data (height, weight, age, activity level, goals). Usage data such as device type, IP address, and session information is also collected automatically to improve the Service. With your permission, we access your camera and photo library to enable food scanning.
Your data is used to provide and improve NutriLens, calculate personalized nutrition goals, generate AI-powered insights and recipes, and send important service updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Certain features of NutriLens — including food photo analysis, AI-generated recipes, and exercise calorie estimation — are powered by third-party artificial intelligence service providers. When you use these features, certain information is transmitted from your device to these AI service providers for processing.
Data sent to AI service providers:
Data NOT sent to AI service providers: We do not transmit your name, email address, account identifier, precise location, or any other directly identifying information to our AI service providers.
Retention by AI service providers: Our AI service providers are contractually bound not to use your data to train their models. Per their published data policies, inference data is not retained by default; short-term reliability and abuse-prevention logs may be kept for up to 30 days.
Transmission: All data sent to AI service providers is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Your consent: Before any data is sent to a third-party AI service for the first time, you will be shown a consent prompt within the app. If you decline, AI-powered features will be unavailable. You may revoke this consent at any time from Settings, which will disable all AI features.
Not medical advice: AI-generated nutritional estimates, health scores, and dietary suggestions are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary or health changes.
Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus up to 24 months after closure. Support data is kept up to 24 months from ticket closure. Usage logs are retained up to 24 months for security purposes.
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We encourage strong, unique passwords.
You can access, update, or delete your personal data at any time from Settings in the app, or by contacting us at reiggs22@gmail.com. We operate under the laws of the Philippines.
NutriLens does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately.
